Free Stores
Free ArtCures stores empower artists to sell globally, connect with buyers, and voluntarily pledge a portion of sales to fund cancer research.
North Carolina
ArtCures is currently in an invitation-only beta, working exclusively with North Carolina artists like Adam D. Cohen, creator of the featured drawing "Ponder." Current artists and our founder can invite others. If you're interested in a free ArtCures store, please join our waiting list. Our admissions team will evaluate applications on a first-submitted, first-reviewed basis.
Admission
We never turn an artist away. Our admission committee makes three recommendations:
- Acceptance with Product Development - We help artists in this category such as Brittany Søndberg whose Daybreak sculpture is featured create free stores and develop products featuring their art.
- Acceptance - We help artists in this category create free stores to sell their art on ArtCures.
- Farm Team - Our farm team is dedicated to mentoring and helping artists develop the singular style needed to stand out in a crowded market.
Your Store
Once accepted we'll need five things to create your store:
- Headshot such as Caelum McCall's. Our hero images are 1920 x 1280 so we need large files that are compressed (png is best).
- Video - We need a two minute "studio visit" video in MP4, see tips from StoryBoard Media on how to create this.
- Price List - A price list with each work's name, media, size, and creation date is important.
- Art Images - We need high resolution pictures of each work with PNG being the best file format since it is uncompressed.
- Signed Artist Agreement - Our agreement protects and defines our artist's rights. We'll be glad to send if you would like to review.
